COUTYARD STATUE
Using a candleholder and a giant lead figure

This is a courtyard statue commemorating some giant beastman. It was made for Mordheim, using a golden plastic candlholder bought at a discount store for $1 USA. I mounted an old giant Minotaour figure whose hands were broken off and lost by my son a few years ago. After smashing up the candleholder a bit with a chisel, I sprayed the figure gold, and mounted it on top. The figure is on two pieces of particleboard which serves as a stable base and simulates steps. I painted runes it and washed the whole thing black. The other 25mm figure is there for scale and is a Harlequin Hesling Templar Knight.
